11/ 23 Sys Admin w/ IA knowlege / OCONUS overseas project

Note – this is a job that requires tact, initiative, and hands-on remediation of a significant number of IA issues.  We need candidates who are closer to a system administrator but have good IA knowledge. We expect this position to require a lot of work at the system level performing patching and complying with elements of the gold disk. These engineers will be representatives of my client and a member of our team.  They will be working closely with existing staff who are overwhelmed by the job today.  The work will start in Crystal City (Arlington) until January 2010, then Mannheim, Germany, then Vicenza, Italy, then Seoul, Korea.  Period is Nov 15th - April 2010.  They will be able to return home for the holiday season in late December, early January, at our expense.  We strongly prefer candidates who reside in the DC area, as the customer balks at paying per diem for the work in Crystal City.

OCONUS Network Engineer

An opportunity for overseas travel…

OCONUS Network Engineer requirement to support the American Forces Network. 

My client needs 2 FTE’s to service AFN OCONUS regional sites located in Manheim, Germany, Vicenza, Italy, and Seoul, Korea (Yongsan) for a period of 30-days at each site.  Additional work may be required at future dates for scheduled maintenance.

Target rate is around $60 / hr. + per diem .  We will need to move out on this to have people ready to work on / around October 20th.

 These are TEMP positions, so it doesn’t matter if they have applied directly to LM; we are not hiring.

Here are the job descriptions for the folks we need for surge on the DMA contract that was just won..  The clearance requirement is Secret with a final SSBI.  Dates are TBD.

Attached is the job description for two (2) level 4 Systems Engineers with Windows, Unix, Cisco, CheckPoint and DIACAP experience in support of DMA AFN North, AFN South, and AFN Korea vulnerability assessment and risk mitigation task.  We’re projecting a minimum of 30-days at each regional HQ site with some additional travel to remote sites within each region.  The total approximate time supporting this effort is 90 days, but this may require additional work beyond this time frame for continued sustainment.
