Description

This position will be responsible for managing staff in processing accounts receivables, billing, and cash posting. This is a Direct Hire Opportunity within the Healthcare Industry. This position requires a background in Medicare.

 
Essential Functions:
1.Manages staff in processing accounts receivables.
2.Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
3.Oversees the processing of billing, collections and account follow-up.
4.Provides performance management, training and tools on policies and procedures.
5.Identifies, investigates, resolves and responds to issues in the Central Business office, hospital and other management contacts.
6.Consults with and establishes rapport with all payor representatives in order to resolve claim issues.
7.Maintains current knowledge of regulations and guidelines.
8.Ensures compliance with Medicare/Medicaid regulations and the companies operating procedures.

EXPERIENCE:

1. Five years experience in business office or healthcare administration required

2. Two to three years supervisory experience required

3. Advance level of Microsoft Excel experience required

EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or related area required OR 5 years of equivalent work experience at the management level
