Account Manager- Program Sales
Summary: The position is responsible for supporting the Inside Account Managers in driving Technology Sales in both the product and service areas. Additional responsibilities will include generating a consistent stream of new prospect meetings through self-directed, aggressive lead generation activities and account qualifications as well as handling inbound inquiries from prospective technology customers, qualifying their needs and setting up meetings to present our product and services portfolios.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Inside Account Managers to prospect and develop Technology sales to new and existing SBA customers by being the resident expert in Technology products and services.
Research and identify the appropriate vendor, and effectively act as a conduit between the Inside Account Manager and the vendor to ensure all program requirements are met during the selling, implementation and maintenance phases.
Develop and maintain relationships with diverse personalities within the organization, including key stakeholders and executive contacts.
Skillfully qualify needs of the client and effectively translate into a compelling value proposition.
Self directed continuous improvement of sales and technical knowledge.
-Technology Products and/or services industry experience.
-Ability to "team sell" through an understanding of business process.
-Strong ability to develop a professional rapport, overcome objections and persuade while maintaining a dynamic professional demeanor and presence over the phone.
-Excellent grammar, written and oral communications.
-Excellent organizational skills.
-Experience with MS Office and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools and processes preferred.
-Resourcefulness that demonstrates independent working capabilities.
-Ability to multi-task and problem solve.
-Bachelors Degree preferred with 3-5 years experience.
