Summary

Responsible for overseeing daily production line operations which include monitoring productivity, personnel and finished goods quality.

Ability to run complex lines

Ability to know and understand daily production needs

Ability and knowledge to preform all positions on a line

Ability to use production operating systems

Directly supervises 10-30 employees in the production area.

Will carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include: training employees, planning, assigning, directing work loads, and addressing complaints of line workers

Requirements

Must be able to work either 2nd or 3rd shifts 

Hours 2nd - 2pm-10pm

3rd - 10pm- 6am (Salary $.50 increase)

Long term temp work could lead to temp to hire

Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not necessary

Must have 12 months Minimum of Food Packaging experience

Must have at least 1 yr supervision experience 

Ability to work in Cold environments

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals in English. Must be able to communicate effectively to small groups for the purpose of directing production.

Math skills

 - Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers. common fractions and decimals.
