PARTS PERSONNEL
JOB DESCRIPTION
Due to the continued growth, we are looking for a select few to join our parts departments. The successful candidate will have experience selling heavy and medium duty truck and/or trailer parts.
As a Parts Personnel Specialist, you will be expected to:
- Provide prompt, courteous and accurate service to customers who either visit the dealership
- or call by maintaining familiarity with:
- All inventory products and merchandising programs.
- Parts inventory and ordering systems
- Utilize and maintain parts technical resources with most current information.
- Dealership credit policies.
- Acknowledge customers as soon as possible.
- Provide additional help in other areas as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Parts Manager.
REQUIREMENTS FOR A PARTS PERSONNEL SPECIALIST:
- You must have direct industry experience selling heavy-duty truck or auto parts through distribution and/or directly to the end user.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Knowledge of computers is a must.
- Knowledge of diesel engines, gas engines, drive train, suspensions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Good customer relation skills.
- Possess valid Colorado driver’s license.
