Butler America is seeking 6 experienced Airframe Design Engineers
for our West Lafayette Design Center.

Ranked as one of the 25 best cities in the country for its low cost-of-living and award-winning schools, Lafayette/West Lafayette is home to Purdue University and a smart place to earn your living! Our 30,000-square-foot-center at Purdue Research Park provides support for a global leader in helicopter design/manufacturing.
 
Here we are performing outsourced engineering work for various helicopter programs. We are comprised of design engineers, stress engineers, technical support engineers, transmission engineers, process engineers, M&P, mass properties engineers, CMO, dynamic systems engineers, and much more in our facility.  With over 100 engineers on staff, we support just about all aspects of various helicopter programs. We are using CATIA as our CAD tool for most of the design related work, as well as NASTRAN/PATRAN and ANSYS for analysis. Many of the programs are military related so US Citizenship or Permanent Resident is required.
 


Job Requirements 

  • BS Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering required,
  • 5+ years in Aircraft Industry (helicopter preferred) performing Aircraft Primary or Secondary Structure Design is required
  • CATIA V5 experience is required
  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
