Job Description

Aquilent seeks an experienced marketing writer who has experience with Search Engine Optimization and understands the federal market. This person will be responsible for designing, creating, and delivering marketing programs to support the growth and expansion of Aquilent. He/she will:

  • Manage intranet and web content, sales presentations, business development events. Write marketing content for print and web media.
  • Offer guidance on usage, best practices, rules of engagement, and measurement of social media and platforms as appropriate.
  • Plan and execute Aquilent’s digital presence across social media and social networking platforms.
  • Bring innovation, creativity, and awareness to Aquilent’s social media program with company contacts, bloggers, media, and other Aquilent constituents.
  • Plan and manage social media measurement and connections with web analytics tools in order to document and share outcomes of social media programs.


Job Requirements

 

  • 5 years of professional work experience required

  • Experience in social media including blogging, blogger relations, management of Facebook or similar
  • Natural entrepreneurial instinct and ability to succeed in variety of situations
  • Experience with developing new programs and strategies utilizing emerging technologies, including mobile, social and online video
  • Must have experience analyzing and adjusting strategy according to quantitative and qualitative data via Web Analytics reports

Desired

  • Knowledge of the Federal IT contracting – a plus

 


Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing/PR/, business or similar field.
