Job description for the Vice President of Resort Operations is as follows...

Provide overall direction, planning and management of all hotel operations to maximize department productivity and profitability and meet the growth objectives of the company.

Develop and execute (revising as needed) operational policies and procedures to achieve profit and volume objectives.

Supervise, coordinate and develop statistical data for: budgets, hotel trends/analysis, forecasts, projections and guest profiles.

Mentor each hotel department manager in the identification of operational problems and assist them in implementing policies and procedures to resolve them.

Network assigned departments with other company functions.

Responsible for the team member staffing and development of all hotel departments with an emphasis on meeting company guest service standards.

Other job related duties as assigned.

Requirements
The following qualifications are REQUIRED for the Vice President of Resort Operations:
- Bachelor's degree in Hotel/Resort Managment or related field.
- 10 years minimum experience in a four diamond hotel front officer with 7 years hotel experience at a director or Vice President level.
- Complete knowledge of all Front of House hotel areas, housekeeping, sales, reservations, PBX.
- Proven knowledge of computer modeling software as it relates to guest databases.
- Proven ability to identify qualified personnel and provide leadership to develop and direct staff maximizing performance.
- Extensive knowledge in the areas of budgeting, financial planning, strategic planning, profitability, productivity and concept development required.
