ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Developing and implementing individual territory business/sales plans to meet/exceed assigned sales quota.

Drive new business and grow existing installed for assigned products, augmentation of account team in IDN strategic selling and system management.

Work closely with project management to streamline the sales process.

Responsible for presentations, coordinating the pricing process for defined applications, contracting process and achieving growth targets as defined by the company.

Territory is defined as demographic growth areas, large population areas and capacity constrained hospital environment.

Work with assigned Area VP and Watchchild Business Unit Director to ensure successful revenue generation for assigned products.

Job Requirements and Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS:

Operational knowledge of hospital process, applications, infrastructure tools, communication methodologies and trends, etc.

Intense knowledge of the hospital process from admission to discharge with experience in the hospital operating room setting as well.

History of selling high dollar early product or segment life cycle selling.

Strong knowledge of nurse communication tools, telecom and or application experience, customer relationship and growth skills.

Must be accustomed to custom system design, familiar with hospital design and construction processes.

Must be able to document track record of sales success.

Must be detail oriented.

Must have very strong communication and presentation skills.

Must have technical understanding of information and computer technology.

Must display and exhibit strong teamwork skills/competency.

Must to able to travel overnight as necessary, approximately 75%.

 

job Requirements

Minimum of 3-5 years of direct sales experience, preferably in the medical information technology, communication, and software business.

Strong solutions selling experience with a history of new account development roles with demonstrated track record of quota attainment and territory growth.

Hospital operations, clinical or consulting experience a plus.
Bachelors Degree required, Masters of Business Administration preferred.

Perinatal or obstetrical healthcare IT experience strongly preferred; EMR experience will be considered.
