GRAPHIC DESIGNER

US HealthConnect is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Graphic Designer to be responsible for the print and electronic design needs of US HealthConnect and its subsidiaries.  We are a medical marketing and education company focused primarily on women's health. We use a variety of print and electronic media to market various programs (promotional and medical education), which target physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals.

About the Position

• Must work onsite in our offices in Fort Washington, PA
• Full-time (5 days/40 hours per week)
• Responsible for design and production of various marketing materials, including various collateral, brochures, PowerPoint presentation templates, email/HTML marketing, faxes, newsletters, syllabus covers, direct mail, signage, company branding and maintenance of company website graphics
• Candidate should be creative, flexible, independent, and able to work in a fast paced environment

Skills and Experience Required

• An associates degree from an accredited graphic arts institution or BA or BFA in Graphic Arts required
• 2-4 years professional experience as a Graphic Designer
• Knowledge of and experience with these programs a must: Photoshop, Illustrator, publication design software such as InDesign or Quark Xpress, Adobe Acrobat, and PowerPoint
• Experience and general proficiency with web applications such as Front Page, Dreamweaver and JavaScript is required
• The ability to solve marketing challenges through smart conceptual thinking and concepts
• Excellent attention to detail/proofreading and editing skills
• Deadline conscious – committed persistence to complete tasks on time
• Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Prior experience targeting healthcare professionals with your designs is a plus!
