AUDIOLOGIST

Currently searching for an audiologist to assist in our community health center located in the Kankakee area. The audiologist will provide a high quality practice in direct patient care and consultation with families, allied health professionals and medical staff. The administration of patient evaluations, screenings, and hearing aid services are part of the duties, along with the recommendation and follow-up care of patients and clients. The candidate must have the ability to participate in program development and promotion of services.

Requirements Current or temporary license to practice Audiology in the State of Illinois. Certificate of Clinical Competency in Audiology, Master's Degree in Audiology, Clinical Fellowship Year Candidate. Experience in pediatric and adult populations required. Extensive knowledge/experience in hearing aids is required.

All candidates should have excellent references, team player and ability to work with others. Of course as always, excellent communication skills, and ability to build relationships with patients and physicians is key.
