Description

Apex Systems is currently looking for a Senior Reports Developer with heavy emphasis in SSRS for a PERMANENT OPPORTUNITY.  No Sponsorships available at this time...

Responsibilities include:

  • Converts business requirements into technical design specifications for ETL and reporting
  • Prepares development for release and documents implementation procedures
  • Design, develop, modify, and implement reports using SQL Server Reporting Services
  • Delivers ad-hoc extracts that support different business requirements
  • Resolves report performance issues
  • Performs data integrity and audit checks to ensure accuracy of reports
  • Supports and performs software life-cycle development
  • Ensures standards and best practices used in development are followed and maintained

 

Requirements

Requirements include:

  • 4+ years experience working in report development
  • Significant experience with SQL Server 2005, including writing T-SQL, SSIS packages, and SSRS
  • Outstanding SQL programming skills, with ability to write advanced queries, read data models, and understand dimensional table relationships.
  • Extensive experience using report manager and report viewer
  • Strong discipline in full life cycle development
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work on and organize concurrent projects.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to complete projects with little supervision.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills and ability to trace report performance issues to root cause.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or MIS related area
