Senior JAVA developer
 

Description of Senior JAVA developer:

 

Intelligent Automation, Inc. is an R&D organization headquartered in Rockville, Maryland that conducts state of the art research and product development in the fast evolving areas of Distributed Intelligent Systems, Education & Training, Robotics, Networks and Control.

 

Job duties include:

 

  • Develop plugins to GeoServer that utilize ontology information
  • Develop ontology information for specific application (to be discussed at interview) and software to allow for access via GeoSErver
  • Develop computational geometry code to support queries
 


Job Requirements 

Senior JAVA developer

Requirements of Senior JAVA developer:

 

  • The Multi-Agent Systems group is looking for a Senior Java Developer with substantial experience in 2 out of 3 of the following areas:
  • software agents (distributed and concurrent programming with message passing);
  • GIS (server side); and ontologies.
  • A masters degree in computer science,
  • engineering or a related field is required.
  • US citizenship is required.
