Description
The Valley - A Stonebridge Community Nursing Home is looking for a Nurse Educator to orientate all nursing staff and teach the nursing assistant certification program classes.

The Valley is family owned and operated and is a 120-bed licensed skilled nursing facility located in the heart of Florissant, MO. The Valley, Florissant's premier nursing home, is newly refurbished (2009) and the training room is comfortable and located inside the nursing facility.

The Nurse Educator is responsible for screening and hiring all employees seeking professional growth and development through our state recognized Certified Nursing Assistant certification course.

The Nurse Educator is also responsible for the success orientation of all nursing staff employed at The Valley.

Requirements
Applicants should be Missouri state-board licensed registered nurses and should have a minimum of 3 years experience training nursing assistants for the C.N.A. certification course.

Applicants must be certified to teach the C.N.A. certification course.

Applicants should also have previous experience managing and delegating tasks and assignments to nursing staff.
