VP/Controller-Real Estate
Major Real Estate Company located in New York City is currently seeking a qualified individual for their expanding Financial department.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage Financial Accountants
-
Interview, hire and access Accounting staff
-
Assist in preparation and review of financial modeling and cash flow forecasts
-
Assist in annual budget preparation, coordination and completion
-
Monitor budget to actual reporting and quarterly reforecasts
-
Responsible for certain lender reporting and covenant compliance including CMBS and commercial mortgages
-
Effectively oversee and perform month end closing
-
Preparation and review of monthly internal financial reports and board papers
-
Review all GAAP and IFRS audited financial statements
-
Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors
-
Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions
-
Manage, measure and forecast cash
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have an Accounting or Finance Degree and 10+ years Real Estate Accounting experience. A CPA or MBA is highly preferred.
The starting salary for this position is up to 150K Base with excellent benefits and bonus.
