Description
A financially stable, acute care hospital, located just outside of Washington D.C. in Maryland, is searching for a Patient Safety/Risk Manager to join their team.
In the position the incumbent will plan, implement and direct the risk management program. Responsibilities will include proactive risk assessment and reduction strategies, as well as response to the need for development and/or improvement of policies, processes or systems.
Current or very recent acute care hospital risk management experience is necessary.
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
BS degree in Nursing and/or related field
Minimum of 3 years related risk management experience.
Nursing background preferred.
Certification in risk management
Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
Must be team-oriented as well as have the ability to work autonomously
