Contact customers via telephone to generate renewal and cross sales of core Company products and services, as well as follow-up with customers to assure their satisfaction with products and services. 

  • Develop relationships with customers to determine their specialized needs.
  • Inform customers of current promotions and new or upgraded products.
  • Determine cross-sell and up-sell opportunities for customers.
  • Promote value, quote prices and encourage customers to purchase.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and solve problems, directly or through other internal resources, and solicit additional sales.
  • Assist customers requesting information about software products and with placing software orders.
  • Maintain customer accounts with regular communication and follow-up.
  • Investigate and resolve delivery problems for customer.
  • Authorize the return and reshipment of products.
  • Maintain daily sales activity information.
  • Generate daily total call volume of 80 to 100 calls.
  • Meet assigned, individual sales goals.
Requirements

  

  • Professional and proficient verbal communication skills, including the talent to build customer relationships, persuade, influence and negotiate with customers to purchase product.
  • Previous sales experience is helpful; however, training is provided.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts, such as discounts, commisions and percentages.
  • Ability to apply common sense and verify understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or verbal form.
  • Working knowledge of and skills in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (email).
