Description

We are currently offering a full time position as and Technology and Design Program Coordinator at our Ocala, FL campus.

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

·        Teach 12 - 16 courses per year, averaging three – four per quarter;

·        Program Development, Implementation, Coordination, and Maintenance;

·        Program Promotion;

·        Advise students;

·        Engage in Professional Development Activities;

·        Render institutional non-teaching services to Rasmussen College;

·        Financial metrics.

·        Participate and facilitate committee meetings, advisory boards, professional development activities, and strategic planning process.

·        Collaborate with faculty at both the campus and system levels.

·        Work collaboratively with Dean of Faculty to recruit, hire, train, and oversee part time faculty.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years experience in a variety of multimedia development software tools including the Adobe CS3 package, Adobe Director, Adobe After Effects, and 3DStudio Max.
  • Superior organizational and presentational skills for classroom management.
  • Bachelor’s degree is required, Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Understanding of different learning styles and the ability to tailor instructional material according to these styles.
  • Competency in the use of supporting software such as the Microsoft OS and Office suite, a variety of Internet Browsers.
  • Strong understanding of the Multimedia and Gaming industry and the market for job opportunities in the community.
  • Some teaching experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including teaching day, evening, and online courses.
