Laboratory Technician

Cherokee Pharmaceuticals LLC, an emerging leader in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, has an exciting and challenging opportunity for Laboratory Technicians at its Riverside, PA manufacturing facility.

Successful candidates will perform chemical, instrumental and physical analysis on a variety of process control samples during the manufacture of pharmaceutical intermediates. Under the supervision of the Shift Advisor, you will perform a wide variety of tests and assays on factory in-process, finished goods, water, waste treatment and raw material samples, along with numerous other analyses on intermediates and various service request samples.  We will also rely on you to prepare and standardize various chemical reagents, solutions, controls and standards used in either the laboratory or production area. 

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related discipline with a 3.0 minimum G.P.A. and excellent oral and written communication skills.  Experience with analytical techniques, union/management relations, problem solving and teamwork preferred. Must be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts.  In addition, the incumbent must be able to prepare and run assays via HPLC, GC, GC/MS etc.
