Controller/Accounting Manager for a new acquisition!

Our client is a private equity firm and they are confidentially working with us to help them fill a Controller position in their latest acquisition.  The business is a $10mm/year computer parts reseller with an established business and several sales channels including retail, B to B, and internet sales.  The Managing Partner from the P.E. Firm is set to be the CEO and he is looking for his right hand to be the Controller.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience as an Accounting Manager/Controller of a growing $5-20mm/year business in either manufacturing or distribution.  Previous management of a staff of 2+ is required and experience with QuickBooks Enterprise is strongly preferred.  As this will be a newly acquired company, there will be significant change and clean up early on.  This role is not for the faint of heart and the ideal person will be ready to work hard and be highly available.

The base salary will be in the $65-$80K range and there is a 10% target bonus to start.

• 3+ years of staff management
• 5+ years of experience in Financial Management of an organization under $20mm/year
• Experience in Manufacturing or Distribution
• Experience in a high growth opportunity and/or a newly acquired company
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Enterprise strongly preferred
