Description

This individual will be responsible for managing the 170 System integration with in a hotel corporation.  Also, assisting with managing the Financial Systems to include; maintenance and procedures of the hotel’s financial systems and IT related BPO functions.  Ensure consistent practices are used throughout the company to maintain the integrity of the system.

 

Essential Functions:

 

  • Responsible for oversight and management of application of 170 System including third party vendors and software partners.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction is maintained at a high level.
  • Take ownership and responsibility for ensuring delivery of high quality, customer-focused IT services to levels agreed with the business.
  • Contribute significantly to the IT Management team including Corporate IT Team, budgetary control and resolution of complex issues.
  • Implement and enforce Global Standards and procedures set by the Corporate office.
  • Work closely with the business sponsors, PMO team, business innovation team, OI team and SAP team to ensure that all IT components are operational 24/7.
Requirements
  • B.S. degree in Computer Science/Information Technology
  • Implementation of 170 Systems and Oracle Financials.
  • 8-10 years experience with Financials and project Leadership skills required
  • PMO concepts and process knowledge required
  • Design, analysis, coding, documentation and implementation methodology experienced required. SDLC concept understanding required.
  • Prior experience working as an IT Manager in a Financial Shared Service Center, preferably in the hotel industry.
  • Preferably has been an IT Manager during the transition of IT platforms.
  • In-depth knowledge of Shared Service Center processes a plus.
  • Experience within the travel and leisure industry a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
