We are currently looking for individuals who would be interested in working with us on a PART TIME as needed basis with the following experience and background:

The ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings, specifications, geometric dimensioning and tolerance per ANSI/ASME Y 14.5

 

The ability to perform in-process, final and first article inspections per AS9102.

 

The ability to perform mechanical measurement for verifying the compliance of complex machined, formed, cast, forged, and assembled aircraft structure.  Including assemblies, sub-assemblies, and piece parts.

 

The ability to support urgent production requirements with minimal advance notification.

 

Assess Quality performance at the supply base.  Devises and implements methods for inspection evaluating reliability and accuracy of the products/processes at the supply base.

 

Ensures that project and/or process controls and documentation are compliant with the requirements and/or Purchase Order. 

 

Coordinates with suppliers relating to performance, trends, and corrective action.  Verifies compliance and effectiveness of the quality system by performing audits, surveys, and process walks.

 

Act as liaison between Parker and the supplier while resolving corrective action requests.

 

Prepares audit reports reflecting quality performance and corrective action by analyzing data collected.

 

Ensures corrective action is taken by following up with audited parties and substantiates findings with documentation.

Requirements

All applicants must be proficient with PC and be able to utilize the Internet as well as be familiar with MS office.
