Job title: Central Office Installer II
Location: Alberquerque, NM
Duration: Long term contract

Job Description:

  •  Must have 2 to 4 years experience

  • Be capable to pull, lace/stitch, and form signal cables, power, and Fiber Optic Cable

  • Run and lace inter-bay cables

  • Maintain work area clean of debris

  • Assist in the mounting of Central office equipment in accordance with floor plan specifications

  • Install basic ironwork, and fiber trough

  • Install transmission and switch equipment

  • Terminate signal cable on DSX by performing wire wrapping and fiber optic cables to patch panel

  • Label all signal cable, fiber optic, and power cable

  • Have familiarization with multiple manufactures equipment to include but not limited to:

-Alcatel-Lucent

-Tektronix

-Cisco

-Nortel

-Tellabs


 


Job Requirements 

  • Must have high school diploma or GED certificate

  • Familiarity and hands-on experience with installing equipment racks, supporting iron work, running and lacing power, ground, and signal cables

  • A positive attitude

  • Willingness to learn new skills

  • Ability to travel on short notice

  • Must be able to be at site for the duration of the installations

  • Willing to Travel

  • Able to lift over 50 pounds

  • Have a valid drivers license

  • Pass drug test
