Description

Labtech is a specialty staffing and recruiting firm that is seeking candidates for the following position.  Our client is a niche supplier in their field and has a great opportunity for someone with experience in customer support, client relationship management, and developing sales proposals and quotations.

ACCOUNT COORDINATOR

Central point of contact to coordinate administrative phases of the RFQ processes to ensure completion within deadlines.  Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Business Development and Engineering throughout the RFQ and order processes.  Write and maintain numerous proposal-related documents including RFQ boilerplate.  Participate in the development of new procedures, processes, and quality improvements to ensure the RFQ team is forward-thinking and innovative.  Compile and report quoting, sales and customer scorecard activity.  Assist personnel with training and competitive analysis. 


 

Additional Capabilities and Expectations

  • Support operations, sales team, engineering, customer service, accounting, and suppliers
  • Manage sales forecasts, purchase orders, program details, set up sheets.
  • Ensure customer profiles are kept up to date in SalesForce (CRM). 
  • Track orders and deliveries to customer
  • Ensure forecast and program information are provided in a timely manner 
Requirements

Ideal Requirements:

  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with preparing/editing proposals or other types of formal documents
  • Self-starter with enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Highly detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications with emphasis in Word, Project, Excel
  • CRM and ERP experience a plus
  • Experience or domain knowledge of the electronic components industry and/or product sourcing for the defense market is a plus
  • 2 to 5 years of sales and/or sales support experience
  • Basic understanding of enterprise applications like CRM, ERP, PLM and SCM
  • Bachelor's Degree or Community College Diploma
  • Track record of working successfully with a sales team
  • Good working understanding of a common sales cycle, with experience in discovery, prospect education, and closing tactics
  • Build and maintain database analysis and management reporting
