We are looking for a Business Manager of Partner & Marketing with a proven track record for successfully managing small to large scale accounts and completing projects from inception to completion. 

 

This includes:

-       Building and maintaining long-term business relationships

-       Prospecting and developing new business opportunities with existing customers

-       Responsible for account growth and development

-       Ensure on-time delivery of work and projects

-       Maintain regular client contact & ensure 100% customer satisfaction

-       Communicate account performance trends and new developments in Intelius products

 

 General Responsibilities:

 

The Business Manager will work with the Business Development and Marketing Teams to support their needs.  Primary responsibilities include creating, interpreting and delivering multiple reports to the Business Development & Marketing teams, and working with Intelius distribution partners to implement integration between Intelius and partner sites. Working through technical issues, including satisfying customer requests, is also an important part of the position.  The ideal candidate does not have to have development or code writing experience, but must be able to look into database reports and research issues.  This position also requires a keen interest in providing customer service and building rapport with dozens of partners.  Ability to pick up the phone is as important as the technical skills.  Marketing skills and ability to execute media buys and partnership implementations is a key ingredient to this role.  Suffice to say our typical marketing partnerships can be complex and require attention to detail.  This is a critically important role within the company with many moving parts, multi tasking and a keen acumen for detail is critical.  The opportunity to grow our existing revenue base is substantial and this role will be the cornerstone of that effort.

 

The Business Manager will be required to perform additional responsibilities as required by management per the required job function. 

Requirements

-       Minimum undergraduate degree.

-       3+ years experience.

-       Ability to work cross functionally between engineering, operations, and business teams to help define requirements, clarify product related questions, and manage special projects.

-       Online marketing experience, creativity and execution of partner and network buys.  

-       Strong organization, excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

-       Ability to work in a fast paced, fast growing startup environment and manage multiple complex integration projects at the same time.

-       Contract and legal experience a must.

-       Internet traffic distribution experience and traffic reporting a must.

-       Ad serving/tracking platform experience a bonus.

-       Revenue reporting, P&L and data analysis is crucial and an important skill set.

-       Ability to be forward thinking, identify and anticipate potential issues and road blocks.

-       Incredible problem solving skills, be flexible and have the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

-       Ability to build partnerships and influence others to meet objectives.

-       Ability and desire to work as a part of a team of other highly skilled people as well as working independently and without supervision to produce quantifiable results. 

-       Get it done mentality.

-       Proficiency with MS Office products:  Word, Excel, & PowerPoint.
