The ideal candidate will plan, organize, develop, communicate and implement improvement strategies for overall maintenance support systems, including but not limited to: Predictive and Preventive Maintenance Programs (via Infor Datastream 7i Asset Management System or other respective CMMS's); EH&S Training for Maintenance team members at all North American (NA) locations via research and utilization of Best Practices to achieve World Class Standards.
The incumbent will research, standardize, implement, manage, and audit Best Practices for Preventive Maintenance Programs (ex: IR Thermal Scans, Vibration/Oil Analysis, Point Thermal Analysis, and Sonic Analysis).
The following lists the additional responsibilities to be successful in this important corporate role:
- Will develop and implement a standardized system of continous improvement processes throughout the Maintenance programs at each NA location to minimize equipment downtime and maximize planned maintenance. Will assess effectiveness and enact appropriate corrective actions based on findings.
- Will co-develop, coordinate, implement and audit the overall Maintenance Personnel Training Program and effectiveness for all NA locations, including but not limited to on-line skills enhancement training (TPC Training Systems).
- Will support Maintenance Managers at each NA locations to assess individual maintenance personnel training needs and co-develop training plans to address deficiencies while assessing training effectiveness.
- Will train Maintenance Supervisors/Technicians to supervise and/or perform preventive predictive maintenance activities.
- Corporately manage administration of all NA's maintenance parts/equipments (inventories) at each central and satellite locations to assure parts availability and ready supply to the sites. Coordinate activities at each site to ensure appropriate onsite spare parts availability, especially emphasizing mission critical equipment and building systems.
- Will create and analyze standardized Predictive/Preventive Maintenance Summary reports via the CMMS (ex: machine uptime, first pass equipment repair, percentage of planned maintenance, maintenance personnel repair hours, work order assigned vs. percentage completed), then communicate improvement opportunities to the Corporate Engineering/Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Managers at each NA locations.
- Will develop and implement minor capital projects and support major maintenance projects to reduce maintenance costs, improve equipment reliability and plant efficiencies.
- Will participate in budget development in support of Operations' activities, as needed.
- Will visit NA locations to coordinate and evaluate Maintenance Program implementation, as needed.
