The Telesales Representative will be responsible for growing the direct-to-consumer vertical by passionately and enthusiastically interacting with those interested in purchasing the Rosetta Stone solution. This is an excellent entry-level role to grow your understanding of Rosetta Stone’s products, people, and processes. He/She will be an evangelist to the outside customer portraying Rosetta Stone’s values and passion for success, while having an excellent impact on the direct-to-consumer revenue vertical, which consists of two-thirds of the company’s total, fiscal revenue.

 

A strong predictor of success for the Telesales Representative is the ability to create value by understanding the customer’s needs and wants quickly, and being able to apply the Rosetta Stone solution to those needs resulting in a sale.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Exceed monthly inbound phone sales quota with an average of at least $400.00 per sale and 28%+ conversion on incoming calls
  • Maintain a 92-95% quality assurance score by following the establish sales process – discovering customer needs, discussing needs and helping them arrive at a decision to purchase Rosetta Stone and by hitting mandatory talking points – introduction, company, customer’s name, what language the customer is interested in, needs for the order, closing for order, tone, personality, etc.
  • Successful integration of new training sessions given by product and sales trainers
  • Develop and refine new sales tactics by research and collaboration with team members; evaluated each week
  • Successful personal completion of a Rosetta Stone language all the way through two levels within one year
 


job Requirements

Experience/ Education:
  • Prior sales experience in a retail or phone environment
  • Attention to detail, professional work ethic, and phone manner
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment, yet strong contribution individually in a performance-based sales environment
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
  • MUST be fluent in Spanish – written and spoken
