FUNCTION

Work alongside sales associates providing daily direction, communication and training to execute daily actions plans in accordance with Vera Bradley’s objectives and standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Note: Other duties may be assigned)

  • Execute daily action plans agreed upon by the management team to ensure effective and consistent store operations
  • Consistently models, encourages and demonstrates the “experience” on the sales floor
  • Assist with communicating the Vera Bradley brand aesthetic, philosophy and lifestyle to sales associates and customers
  • Ensure the visual merchandising and brand standards are maintained
  • Assist in promoting community involvement to drive brand awareness and loyalty
  • Assist store management  with daily, weekly, and monthly processes to ensure operational integrity
  • Diffuse employee relations issues to cultivate a quality work environment that motivates the team to perform at their highest potential
  • Provide a clean, organized and inviting environment for both customers and sales associates
  • Process sales transactions utilizing POS system

 


job Requirements

  • High School graduate preferred
  • 1-3 years retail experience.  Experience in specialty retail strongly preferred.
  • Experience with retail POS system a plus
