Description

Come and join a scientific team that has industry-leading experience in a wide-range of drug delivery systems—with particular depth in long-acting parenterals—and is internationally recognized for its contributions to the drug-delivery field.  Our client holds more than 20 drug-delivery patents, and has expertise and facilities for feasibility studies, formulation and product development, hydrophobic drug synthesis, drug-delivery formulation analysis, scale up, clinical lot preparation, and production of final dosage forms.  They  have worked with virtually all drug classes including small molecules, peptides, proteins, nucleic acids, and cell fragments.

 

Specific Duties and Responsibilities: 

This position will focus on identifying new customers and strengthening relationships with existing customers in the manufacture of clinical trial materials and final drug product. This individual will participate in a team selling environment that includes manufacturing experts, licensing counsel and senior executives. Responsibilities include identifying and qualifying new customers, securing and coordinating appointments with prospective customers, and maintaining strong relationships with new and current customers. Candidates must have a strong ability to communicate technically, be able to represent advanced parenteral manufacturing and to understand and react to potential client’s needs.

 

Applicants do not need to relocate, but should be near a major airport.

Requirements
  • Minimum of five years in pharmaceutical manufacturing sales with a proven track record.
  • In depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical and biotech industry is also required. Experience in CGMP manufacturing requirements, especially aseptic processes is a plus.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.

Educational Requirements:

BS degree in science, engineering or business.
The ideal candidate will have a science background in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
