We are currently looking for a Program Manager for a full time job with our team in Burr Ridge, IL.  Local Chicagoland candidates only, please.

 

Description of Job Duties:

 

The Program Manager is accountable to the Director of Admissions to ensure adequate student enrollment, positive representation of the respective partner institution, and accurate representation of all policies and procedures.

 

  • Makes daily and weekly telephone contacts with prospective students and schedules appointments.
  • Meets with prospective students and maintains consistent contact with students through enrollment.
  • Enrolls prospective students into program.
  • Meets standard for weekly/quarterly phone contacts, appointments set, and appointments conducted; meets quarterly enrollments and student starts.
  • Tracks all student paperwork to ensure that each student file is complete.
  • Tracks all prospective enrolled student contacts in the GOLDMINE software system.
  • Prepares all requested tracking forms accurately and on time.
  • Maintains accurate knowledge of the partner institution’s products, services, and competition.
  • Works effectively with other campus and college admissions personnel.
  • Participates in the creation and implementation of marketing efforts.
  • Maintains a professional image, attitude and work area.
  • Interfaces daily with all staff, faculty, and students at all levels across respective partner institution.
Requirements

Experience and Education Required:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.  Candidates without a Bachelor's degree will not be considered.
  • At least two years of sales/customer service experience is required, with a preference given to those with experience in intangible services sales.
  • Inside Sales (over the phone) experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong listening skills balanced with excellent communication skills and the ability to cultivate a conversation with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
  • Requires strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain records and files with precision and accuracy.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills are necessary.  This position requires the ability to prioritize and work with minimal supervision. 
  • Requires a high level of professional and telephone etiquette.  Excellent customer relations skills balanced with a persistent attitude a must.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  • Must have great command of the English language, in both oral and written form.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve goals, influence others, and meet deadlines.
  • General knowledge of the higher education industry preferred, but not required. However, a strong belief in the value of education is a must.
