We need a responsible, self-motivated tax preparer who can actively supervise most aspects of engagement. Candidate must have positive business and office demeanor and understand the pressures and rewards of a fast-paced growing firm that offers many opportunities.
Requirements
Senior Tax Accountant
Requirements:
- 5 year CPA
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting
- Experience in the preparation of business (1120, 1120S, 1065) returns
- Experience in the preparation of individual (1040) returns
- Review of tax returns
- Experience in fiduciary tax return preparation (1041) preferred
- Working knowledge of financial statements (income, balance sheet, cash flows) and other financial accounting
- Ability to communicate with clients and other professionals
- Must be a careeroriented individual who is willing to commit to the organization
- Must be able to handle heavy client contact and run engagements
- Must be able to multitask, prioritize and deal with working with multiple partners
- Ability to manage overall engagement with respect to technical aspects and communications of small to midsize engagements
