Description
Working under the supervision of Senior Project Engineer and Project Manager, will be responsible for preparing design for transportation projects. Will perform site reviews, collect existing condition data and field visits, ensure design and adequacy within engineering site constraints. Will assist design engineers in the preparation of highway design drawings such as geometric layouts, profiles, cross sections, drainage, grading, utilities and project cost estimated and quantities.

Requirements

Demonstrated expertise in preparation of highway project drawings including geometric layouts, profiles, cross sections, drainage, grading, utilities, quantities and cost estimates in compliance with CALTRANS standards.
Demonstrated proficiency and expertise in using Microstation/AutoCAD and INROADS.
Must possess California Professional Engineering (P.E.) Licensure.

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign educational equivalent) in Civil Engineering and five (5) years experience in Job Offered or five (5) years experience in analysis, design and rating of highway or public infrastructure design projects
