Description
FUNDRAISING COORDINATOR:
Identifies potential sources of gift support, including individuals, corporations, foundations, community organizations and federal agencies. Facilitates the contact of current and potential donors and event sponsors for the primary purpose of securing contributions. Researches and maintains background information on prospective fund raising, develops effective solicitation strategies, responsible for assisting with all aspects of events, prepares news releases. Abides by the Donor Bill of Rights. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Bachelor degree preferred. Must have exceptional communication, interpersonal skills, computer literacy with a working knowledge of standard Microsoft Office software, demonstrated ability to supervise and motivate volunteers, ability to develop, prioritize and complete work plans, goals and objectives.
