Description Local packaging/film company is expanding! We are currently looking for manufacturing supervisors in our Blown Film Extrusion department. The successful candidate will have experience with filmmaking and/or printing.

Job description:
To oversee the safe operation of the department, including safety, customer satisfaction, personnel management, and development of others. Insure adequate staffing is maintained to meet production goals. Minimize waste and downtime through training, team building and process improvements. develop and enforce plant and department policies and procedures. insure timely performance reviews and salary actions for all hourly employees. Maintain open lines of communication between all levels within the facility. Achieve Pliant Vision of delivering superior value to our Customer.

Requirements

Process knowledge/experience of production of cast and blown extrusion polyethylene films

Knowledge/experience with slitting of plastic films

can manage diversity well

Familiarity with governing regulations, ie OSHA, AIB, EEO, FMLA, etc.

High school degree with at least 9 years experience in production supervision or management, or a College degree.
