HTI Logistics is looking for an experienced manufacturing supervisor to join their growing team in Duncan, SC. 

The Manufacturing Supervisor has responsibility for maintaining the workforce for Human Technologies, Inc’s (HTI) – Logistics & Manufacturing Division onsite at a leading automotive supplier.    Functions of this position include the training and development of HTI employees in the task of production, management of goals to metrics and measurables and other activities as needed.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Manage hourly workforce
  • Determine and assign tasks and other work activities as needed.
  • Supervise 30+ hourly employees and team/line leaders
  • Responsible for front line troubleshooting and elevation of production issues when needed.
  • Initial and ongoing training and cross training of associates.
  • Management of customer required metrics and measurables.
  • Effectively manage communication to associates and management.
  • Will be hands on as needed.
  • Submit required weekly and monthly reporting to management.
  • Regularly attend meetings as needed.  
  • Responsible for administration and compliance with all company’s policies and procedures.
  • Responsible to adherence to all safety and legal requirements.
  • Responsible for work area housekeeping and organization based on 5S principles
Requirements
  • 4 year degree in a related field or equivalent supervisory experience.
  • 2+ years supervisory experience
  • 1+ year’s internal experience as a Team Leader may be substituted.
  • Prefer experience in a high volume facility, automotive industry preferred.
  • Ability to interact with varying levels of people.
  • Have strong problem solving, decision making skills and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrate good written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office programs. SAP experience preferred.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
