Description

EA Engineering is a leading national environmental consulting firm specializing in water resource issues, soil and groundwater remediation, strategic environmental engineering/management, and regulatory compliance solutions.

 

We are currently seeking a Construction Manager for Water /Wastewater projects in Washington DC area.

The candidate has to be a Mechanical or Civil Engineer with 10-15 years of experience in vertical and underground construction preferably in water/wastewater projects.

The applicant should have strong communication skills and ability to establish and maintain good relationship with the client. Experience in Primavera Project Planner and Contract Manager (Expedition) would be a plus.
 
Responsibilities include:

  • Managing staff engaged in the assigned projects,
  • Reviewing shop drawings, RIFs’ responses,
  • Preparing cost estimates,
  • Negotiations and processing change orders,
  • Meeting various clients for business development, performing other duties as assigned.
