Job Description

Tresco, Inc. is seeking a committed leader who will both oversee our established home-based Early Intervention Program and provide vision and growth in the area of services to children consistent with Tresco’s mission.  As a member of Tresco’s management team this position will report to the Chief Program Officer.  The best candidate for this position should be someone with an excellent balance of administrative/management skills and an understanding of service delivery for early intervention services. 

 

Tresco’s Early Intervention Program serves infants and toddlers (birth to three years) with developmental disabilities in two counties.  This program provides comprehensive in-home services utilizing family-centered team approach to address both the child’s educational and therapeutic needs, and to provide parent education and support. Teams include professionals such as family service coordinators, developmental specialists, physical therapist, occupational therapist, speech/language pathologists, family therapist, etc.

 

Other essential responsibilities of the Director include:

  • Lead processes for developing new or modifying current program services to meet changing needs and opportunities
  • Develop annual program budget in support of Tresco’s strategic plan
  • Assure compliance with fiscal planning and budget
  • Assure staff responsibilities, authorities, and accountabilities
  • Represent Tresco to the general public, program markets, other organizations, and the community.


Job Requirements

Master’s degree (preferred) or Bachelors degree in one of the following disciplines: special education, early childhood special education, social work, psychology, rehabilitation or related field and five years progressive experience working with early childhood special needs population with two years progressive managerial experience.  Bilingual Spanish preferred.
