Foodservice Regional Sales Manager

Well known, established Company has been in the industry over 2 decades and has a reputation of high quality service, expanded product lines, and competitive pricing.

Manufactures and sells fresh refrigerated gourmet soups to consumers and food service operators.

Primary Responsibilities:

*****MUST have contacts with major chain restaurant accts. and food service distributors in the Baltimore MD/ DC market and surrounding areas.

• Direct Supervision of select number of sales representatives, assist DSR’s to identify proper sales strategies by customer and territory, identify growth potential and maintain relationships with key customer personnel.
• Progressive sales experience in the foodservice channel Strong desire and ability to motivate and manage people particularly in the foodservice channel or in a restaurant or foodservice business
• Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and increase sales volume by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call and/or visit existing accounts
• Prospect for new business within territory
• Ability to adjust presentation style to the buying needs of the client
• Closes new sales by building rapport with potential account, explaining products and service capabilities, overcoming objections, assists in setup of customer account with corporate office.

Requirements Required Skills and Duties:

• Progressive sales record
• Food Sales and Management experience
• Foodservice experience
• Ideally 10+ years sales background
• Drive to sell and grow territory volume, number of customer accounts, and sales revenue. Self-starters with good street sales experience
• Four year degree preferred
