Our Meritage Las Vegas Division is looking for a results-oriented Internet Sales Associate who will support the online sales and marketing initiatives of Meritage Homes. The position responds, qualifies, and manages eLead information requests. Also coordinates with Sales and Marketing to ensure the Web Site is updated with current sales information in a timely manner. 

 Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide same day, immediate email/phone response to all eLeads.
  • Qualify eLeads and follow up multiple times with online prospects until an appointment is made to meet with a New Home Consultant.
  • Send out marketing collateral to eLeads.
  • Maintain a database of eLeads.
  • Maintain a toll-free number and voicemail for eLeads.
  • Responsible for product and community knowledge to assist in generating Internet leads to Concept of Community

           Know size, number of homes, future plans and restrictions    
           Know the area around the community – Interstates, Shopping, Schools, Churches, etc. 
           Extensive Product Knowledge  
           Plans, features, pricing, warranties, etc. 
           How we differ from the competition.

  • Maintain relationships with on-site Sales staff.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing Department to maintain the look and feel of the website and all internet related marketing.
  • Conduct and manage ongoing email campaigns, newsletters and online community launches.
  • Provide reporting of eLead activity and sales conversion.
  • Monitor Web site data and digital photography on proprietary Web site, NewHomeSource.com, and Homebuilder.com.
  • Perform customer surveys, aggregate data, and make recommendations based on results to improve the online customer experience.
  • Perform and maintain competitive email marketing and Web site market research.
Requirements
  • Enjoy sales and marketing activities. High energy, positive can-do attitude.
  • Minimum High School diploma, some college coursework or Bachelor’s Degree, strongly preferred
  • Three (3) or more years experience in Internet Sales or Marketing, outside sales, or lead generation
  • One (1) year of experience in new home sales, with a proven track record of success, strongly
  • preferred
  • Advanced Internet, email, and sales contact database experience.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and spreadsheet applications.
  • Detail oriented, outstanding follow-up skills, and customer focused.
  • Excellent email writing and telephone communication skills.
  • Solid organizational, planning, and managing skills.
  • Must be able to work in an unstructured environment and quickly tackle ad-hoc projects with minimal supervision.
  • Prioritize time well, juggle several projects at once and experience working under deadlines.
