Description
  • Ability to work independently, be detail oriented, and have excellent organizational skills.

  • Ability to communicate independently and verbally with personable and effective speaking skills – excellent communications skills.

  • Manage item master: add, delete, and modify retail, rental, and capital equipment items

  • Process purchase requisitions

  • Batch requisitions and place purchase orders with Suppliers

  • Monitor shipments and lead times from suppliers

  • Interface with communicate changes in pricing, formularies, lead times to field operations

  • Manage formularies and requests for off formularies items

  • Manage company-wide rental and retail inventory levels

  • Determine appropriate source of new product requests

  • Communicate product purchase status to both internal and external customers

  • Coordinate and resolve invoice discrepancies

  • Modify/update purchasing level approval assignments

  • Interface with and maintain professional relations with product vendors

  • Analyze purchasing trends and recommend process efficiencies

  • Report purchasing activities to senior management

Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Experience in purchasing preferred.
