The Hospital Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting and selling a critical care pharmaceutical product following current sales and marketing plans. Will develop a hospital customer base including applicable physician specialties, nurses, hospital departments, residents, fellows, pharmacists, and formulary decision makers, and other health care providers that influence drug distribution, purchasing and/or recommendation of pharmaceutical products and therapeutic protocols.
Achieve/Exceed defined brand sales objectives
Demonstrate understanding of infectious diseases, products, market dynamics and broad healthcare channels
Develop influential relationships and manage Key Opinion Leader (KOL) development with key departments/customers (Pharmacy, Emergency Department, Critical Care)
•Work with hospital P&T process to gain formulary position for this product
•Partner with hospital treatment committees to include this products on disease state protocols
Effectively analyze market utilizing targeting, planning tools and promotional resources to capitalize on selling opportunities
MUST have 4 year college degree
A minimum requirement of 2 years Hospital Sales experience - preference given to those with IV, Infusion or a biotech product in ICU/Critical Care. Candidates should also reside in the Augusta area since the top Hospital Accounts for the territory are located there.
