Database Programmer / Consultant

Hyland Software Inc. seeks self-motivated IT professionals to join its industry-leading Installation Services team. Our Database Engineers analyze customer database implementations with respect to OnBase® solution performance and make recommendations concerning the administration and maintenance of customer OnBase® databases. You should have a demonstrated ability to learn software and a desire to troubleshoot issues in a collaborative, professional relationship with other OnBase professionals. • 3-5 years experience in database programmingStrong SQL programming skills (T-SQL, PL/SQL, Ansi SQL)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to read and write software documentation from a configuration or user interaction perspective
• Demonstrated technical skills in database administration or design and one of the following additional areas: application development, networks, hardware configuration, or operating systems
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with other business and technical professionals
• Excellent Problem Solving Skills and Troubleshooting skills
• Bachelors degree in computer science, IT, or equivalent field
• Ability to travel approximately 50 percent, within and outside the United States
• Other preferred skills include imaging conversion experience, MCDBA or Oracle DBA, Enterprise Content Management (ECM) experience
