Description

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for developing new accounts and maintaining existing account relationships within the territory of: Rocky Mountains (Alberta Canada, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Arizona , New Mexico).  He/she will maintain high levels of contact frequency, relationship development, and business intelligence with existing accounts and prospects enabling the effective positioning and selling of our client's digital printing equipment.   He/she will manage the sales process and supporting relationships with existing and prospect accounts.  He/she will develop and maintain a sales pipeline sufficient to support revenue targets.  The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining accurate territory and account plans and fulfilling associated reporting requirements.

 

Key Accountabilities and Priorities:

  

  • Identifies, proposes, and closes business equal to or greater than annual forecast.
  • Develops and maintains actionable territory and account plans that support the achievement of revenue forecasts.
  • Builds and maintains effective relationships with existing and prospect reseller accounts in the assigned territory.
  • Understands and is able to differentiate the value of our client's equipment and solutions to potential accounts.
  • Thoroughly understands both the lease and purchase alternatives and appropriately qualifies accounts to accurately position both the equipment and financing options.
  • Generates business opportunities for the territory and effectively positions field resources: Field Engineers and supporting Mangers, to create a compelling business case for potential accounts.
  • Manages expense budgets, maintains sales records, and engages in timely completion of sales reports.
Requirements

Person/Experience:

The Regional Sales Manager must have at least a three year demonstrated record of success in the Digital Printing and/or Graphics Arts industry and at least five years of experience selling capital equipment.

 

Additionally, the Account Manager will possess the following skills and characteristics:

  • High energy combined with a competitive spirit
  • Demonstrated ability to develop actionable territory and account plans and execute against those plans
  • Experience selling into the label segment 
  • Commercial Print sales experience selling large, digital engines
  • An executive presence and the ability to interact comfortably with all levels of an organization
  • Documented strength in creating and managing client relationships.
  • Interpersonal savvy to manage relationships within the company and external relationships with channel partners
  • The proven ability to engage clients on multiple levels including the technical advantages of digital printing and the financial implications for the client business.
  • The ability to understand and support multiple marketing opportunities for the client.
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Strong written communications skills
