Description
Responsible for developing complex designs and customer or marketing specifications; participation in the development of engineering standards and complex design assignments. Communications with customers and functional organizations within the company is an important aspect of this position.
- Design of Engines and Machinery
- Coordinate operation of product design
- Ensure machines and equipment are installed to specifications
- GD & T
- Prepare plans for tooling
- Prepare detailed technical drawings
- Test ability of machines to perform tasks
- Perform quality control tests
- Catia Software preferred
Location: Greater Rockford, IL area
Salary: $50,000 to $65,000
Type of Placement: Direct Hire
Degree Type: BS in Mechanical Engineering or min 5 years solid machine design experience.
Experience Minimum: 3 to 5 years machine design
Requirements
- Catia Software preferred; AutoCAD; SolidWorks
- Machine Design
- Solid oral and written communication skills
- Design of hydraulic systems a plus
