Services range from distribution center operations and transportation management to highly sophisticated and technology-focused solutions involving product assembly, vendor managed inventory, reverse logistics and repair.

Due to continued growth we are seeking an Order Planner for our operation in Albany, GA

Summary of Functions:

Responsible for order entry, planning and support for the entire Consolidated Storage Program (CSP) network. Requires close coordination with the client to ensure that customer expectations are met and a pro-active order management capability is maintained.  

Essential Functions:

• Order entry and management (follow up and control) and UIF support requirements for extended coverage periods as required.
• Inventory allocation, prioritization and issue resolution.
• Shipment tracking and customer service support.
• Support for expediting, placing and coordinating orders and returns, emergency orders, maintaining high order fill rates, and resolving overdue order situations as needed.
• Transportation management, including the coordination of all transportation activities related to inbound and outbound shipments
• Coordination, documentation, and procedures related to orders, allocation, customer service and transportation planning for all orders throughout the network
• Point of Contact (POC) for transportation service requirements to respond to inquiries, service failures, and emergency shipments
• Timely customer and UIF support, and accurate creation of demand data to the planning function.
• Assist in deployment and return reconciliation
• Meet or exceed department performance objectives
• Complete other tasks as assigned
• Work schedule may vary to support worldwide operations

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to travel, work with a computer, and operate a variety of office equipment

• Able to lift up to 40lbs

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

• 5 years of order management and customer service in a supervisory or team-lead capacity.

• Proficiency in web-based order management systems, allocation systems, integrated with inventory systems and warehouse systems. 

• Strong verbal, presentation, team-building and written communication skills.

• Proficient in MS Office suite application and tools

• Associates Degree preferred
