The Unit Manager, under the supervision of the Director of Nursing shall assist in the twenty-four (24) management of the unit.  They will also supervise assigned personnel to ensure that nursing care services are being provided in accordance with regulations, policies, and good practice, and are effectively meeting the needs of the residents.


job Requirements

  • The Unit Manager will have, as a minimum, graduated from an approved Registered Nurse program.  A BSN is preferred.
  • Have, as a minimum, one (1) year of experience as a supervisor in a health care facility as well as two (2) years med surg experience
  • Have the knowledge and ability to preform necessary computerized nursing functions
  • Possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse
  • Be certified in C.P.R
  • Be able to read, write, speak and comprehend the English language
  • To sucessfully pass our pre-employment Physical, Drug and Criminal Background check process
