Description Under general supervision, serves as process excellence leader and primary resource for implementing business performance solutions consistent with business objectives. Collaborates with Regional Executives to identify opportunities for improving quality, cost, and productivity, consistent with business objectives. Employs quality engineering principles, tools, and practices for the development and optimization of systems and processes in alignment with overall business objectives and quality vision. Designs and develops best solutions and methodologies for optimal business processes. Leads cross functional teams from assessment phase to implementation of solutions. Provides statistical analysis for new products, improved processes, capability, and stability analysis, process control, sample size determinations, and design of experiments. Trains, coaches, and develops resources assigned to project related to Lean Six Sigma tools and methodology supervises assigned staff. Serves as role model.

Essential Functions:

• Serves as process excellence leader and primary resource for implementing business performance solutions consistent with business objectives
• Collaborates with Regional Executives to identify opportunities for improving quality, cost, and productivity, consistent with business objectives; develops business case, measurement tracking and reporting tools for accomplishment of initiative
• Employs quality engineering principles, tools, and practices for the development and optimization of systems and processes in alignment with overall business objectives and quality vision; collects and analyzes data; converts broad generalizations into actionable goals
• Designs and develops best solutions and methodologies for optimal business processes; develops and implements key quality systems including configuration and change management systems, correction action systems, web site portals for metrics, projects and communicating activities
• Provides statistical analysis for new products, improved processes, capability and stability analysis, process control, sample size determinations, and design of experiments
• Leads cross functional teams from assessment phase to implementation of solutions; trains, coaches and develops resources assigned to project related to Lean Six Sigma tools and methodology
• Hires, trains, supervises, counsels, disciplines, and terminates assigned staff as appropriate
• Communicates goals, objectives, accountabilities, priorities, and authority parameters to assigned staff
• Manages payroll and/or non-payroll budget; monitors expenditures; ensures compliance with budget; promotes effective use of resources

Requirements .Basic Qualifications:
• Seven years of experience in Lean or Six Sigma methodologies and tactics, process improvement or related experience, with two years experience as a Black Belt
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, public health, economics, management or industrial engineering, or related field
• Certified Six Sigma Black Belt by (IACET) International Association for Continuing Education and Training or (PMI) Project Management Institute
• Demonstrated ability to influence others and move decision-making towards favorable outcomes in areas that are critical to success of organization
• Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, identify key issues, and move change processes quickly and correctly across entire organization
• Demonstrated knowledge of and skill in adaptability, change management, decision making, customer service, group presentations, group process facilitation, influence, interpersonal relations, oral communication, problem solving, project management, quality management, quality process, results orientation, systems thinking, team building, teamwork, and written communication
• Demonstrated knowledge of and skill in word processing, multimedia presentations, spreadsheet, and database PC applications
• Talking to co-workers, customers, outside vendors, and on the telephone
• Reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
• Training/giving and receiving instructions
• Mathematical ability, attention to detail (e.g. organization, prioritization, proofing), concentration, and alertness

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in business administration, public health, economics, management or industrial engineering, or related field
• Certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt by (IACET) International Association for Continuing Education and Training or (PMI) Project Management Institute
• Broad working knowledge of healthcare industry including (but not limited to) service delivery, finance, administration, and information systems
