Job Description

Our client, a food manufacturer located in Itasca, is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join their team.  This candidate must have 3+ years of experience in a Customer Service role at a food service or food manufacturing company.  The pay for this position is 35k - 39k per year, and the position is permanent.

DUTIES

  • Assist customers and clients with any matter via the telephone and email
  • Perform order entry duties
  • Utilize sales skills to achieve maximum profit for company
  • Support other departments by handling miscellaneous tasks as needed


Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of customer service experience
  • Ability to Multi-task

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral

  • Detail-oriented, excellent judgment, and a self-starter

  • Proficiency in MS applications including Excel and Outlook

  • Knowledge of AS400 System is a plus

  • Knowledge of Food service / Food manufacturing industry is REQUIRED
