Description

Our Client is a leading 2.5 billion dollar company providing Healthcare IT EMR consulting services in the US and is looking for a Regional Sales  Executive.   The individual will work with hospitals to focus  on Epic, Cerner, Eclipsys, Mckesson, Meditech and other EMR solutions in the US. 

This Sales Executive identifies, pursues and owns critical executive relationships with critical large and medium sized hospital providers. The Sales Executive drives new opportunity through developing new relationships and leveraging existing relationships, they provide value to the client and revenue to our consulting business all over the US. 

Essential Job Functions

  • Holds overall responsibility for bringing in revenue with Hospital providers in a given region. Plans, directs, and controls sales and marketing activities to continually reflect customer trends, market fluctuations, and changes in business practices/technology.
  • Impacts customer business strategy and sells solutions from across the vertical solution portfolio. Establishes and articulates innovations and growth opportunities for customers and the company. Ensures client satisfaction and broadening of offerings with potential new customers.
  • Manages customer relationship and is responsible for an entire customer across geographies and capabilities. Serves as the single point of contact for customer senior executives, with focus on corporate and business unit executives. Serves as an advisor to develop vision, innovation, and industry expertise. Establishes relationships proactively and grows customer intimacy.
  • Directs the application of technologies, trends, best practices, and service offerings incorporating them into overall business solutions. Leverages partnerships to offer value to the customer. Builds market image of corporation as a premiere services firm.
  • Leads the strategic direction of the account by establishing and articulating account goals in relation to client expectations. Acts as industry consultant and innovator. Communicates with cross-functional groups, and builds strategic relationships with client teams.
  • May direct major proposal activities as assigned.
  • Provides significant industry expertise and client business acumen. Sells higher level services to the customer, enabling competitive advantage for them in the marketplace. Provides thought leadership and capitalizes on cumulative industry, product, and company-specific experiences. Captures best practices and directs and facilitates the management and movement of information.
  • Focuses on account expansion and revenue generation. Generates leads for various company offerings; involves sales support from the various company groups for penetration of specific deals. Formulates and executes business development strategies. May have account profit and loss accountability.

Specific responsibilities include:

    • Assess, build, and our client  position at targeted  at Hospital providers over 250 beds.
    • Understand HIMSS providers such as Epic, Cerner, AllScripts, GE Centricty, Mckesson and Eclipsys
    • Help to elevate key customer relationships especially at the CEO and CFO level.
    • Leverage deep industry experience to define how we can provide integrated solutions that enable clients to drive their strategic business mandates.  This individual will possess the intellectual ability to analyze vertical industry trends and penetrate key client organizations.

 

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree (Master's degree preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Five or more years of consulting solution sales with proven quota attainment in the Healthcare Provider vertical
  • Ten or more years of industry or client relationship experience

 

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in selling Contract Staffing and Consulting Services and Information Technology solutions to the Healthcare Industry

  • Action-oriented, results -oriented, 'take charge' attitude, capable of developing a strong business case for client action and the skills to bring those to close. Proven experience in scaling not only their company's current presence in the marketplace, but their ability to work together with other senior executives to ensure their offerings receives maximum exposure across several of their company's clients
  • Track record of driving new client revenues.
  • Regional Focus - Must live in either the Mid-West or Southeast  US with executive relationships focused in major Healthcare Providers

  • Ten or more years of proven sales experience and/or client relationship management
  • Experience working with concepts, practices, and procedures in areas of responsibility
