A Global Brokerage firm is looking for a Sr. Oracle Data Warehouse Architect/Developer for an
IMMEDIATE contract position. You will be responsible for ensuring high quality and performance in the data architecture and data management results in delivering robust solutions to customers and clients. You will be responsible for all activities including business analysis, data acquisition and access analysis and design, database and load optimization, ETL development and system implementation. You will be developing the detailed project plans for data requirements gathering, data modeling and database design, development and implementation. You wil also facilitate JAD session with Risk IT and Risk IT business teams, walkthroughs/reviews for data requirements gathering, data models and database designs. There is no travel required. Requirements
Sr. Oracle Data Warehouse Architect/Developer
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
- 10 years plus expert experience in Oracle architectural design and data management, configuration, logical & physical data modeling, backend processes and engineering
- Must have strong experience in Star schemas slowly changing dimensions, table/index/materialized views partitioning and logs utilization
- Must have a proven track record of database performance tuning
- Expert level on Query rewrite, Query Equivalence and Star Transformation
- Must have experience designing, developing and deploying complex data warehouse ETL workflows with large data volumes
- Oracle OLAP is a must
- Must be an expert in Oracle Data Warehousing design, ETL development, using parallel operations, partitioning, and materialized views
- BS in Computer Science or in a relevant field
